This policy applies to the YvVPN marketing website, user panel, client access process, and support activities directly related to subscription services. Data processing is limited to account verification, order fulfillment, service maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance requirements. Data unrelated to these purposes is not collected as routine business information.
No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are sufficient. YvVPN does not make an email address mandatory for registration. If a user voluntarily provides an email address or other information in a support ticket, it is used only to handle that request and is not automatically added to a marketing list. Account passwords are used for identity verification and stored according to system security measures.
Data Collected and Its Uses
Account data includes usernames, authentication credentials, account status, and support information submitted by users. It is used for login verification, subscription delivery, account security, and ticket handling. Order records include the selected plan, amount due, payment method, order status, and creation and completion times. They are used to confirm entitlements, handle billing, process refund requests, and resolve disputes.
This website collects necessary access analytics, such as visited pages, browser type, device type, referring page, approximate region, and access time. These statistics help identify page issues, assess content usability, and maintain basic security. They are not used to build profiles of the international websites users access. The server may also generate necessary security event records when abnormal requests occur, to limit abuse and investigate service issues.
No-Logging Principle
YvVPN does not record which websites users access through international routes, or retain webpage content, search content, message text, or in-app transmission content. The service does not create browsing history that could be used to reconstruct an individual's online activity.
Routine network connections are not retained as connection logs that can be linked to specific access content. To maintain account entitlements and calculate traffic usage, the system may process subscription status and traffic consumption, but this information does not include destination websites or transmission content. When a service failure or abuse event occurs, necessary technical records are retained only for as long as needed for investigation and security handling, then deleted or de-identified.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Third-Party Payments
This website may use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language preferences, interface settings, and necessary session identifiers. If this storage is disabled, persistent login, language preferences, or some panel functions may not work properly. Identifiers needed for access analytics are used only for statistics and service maintenance, not for cross-site advertising profiles.
Payments are handled by third-party payment channels corresponding to Alipay / WeChat / USDT. Payment channels may collect payment account details, transaction records, and risk-control information under their own policies. YvVPN receives transaction status and necessary identifiers related to order confirmation, but does not directly store complete authentication details for third-party payment accounts. Each third-party channel's independent data processing is governed by its own privacy rules.
Data Retention, Access, and Deletion
Account data is retained while the account remains active and for as long as needed to provide services. Order records are retained for the periods needed to fulfill transactions, process refunds, reconcile accounts, and meet applicable compliance obligations. Support tickets are retained until the issue is resolved and necessary follow-up checks are complete. Access analytics may be aggregated into statistics that do not directly identify an account; original data is deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.
Users can submit a request through a user panel ticket to access, correct, or delete account-related data. To prevent unauthorized action, account identity verification may be required before processing a request. After an account is deleted, data with no remaining business purpose will be removed. Records that must be retained by law or remain involved in an order dispute will be handled after the relevant obligation ends. Account deletion does not change completed transaction records.
Policy Updates and Request Handling
YvVPN may revise this policy in response to changes in service features, data processing practices, or applicable rules. Updated text will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top of the page will be adjusted accordingly. Changes that materially affect the scope of data processing may be announced through the user panel.
Questions about privacy, account data, or deletion requests can be submitted through a user panel ticket. Requests should identify the relevant account and specific matter, but should not include sensitive information unrelated to the purpose of processing. Data processing not listed in this policy is not automatically authorized by any general statement.
